Oak Hill Cemetery
est. 1851
Located in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Oak Hill Cemetery is registered with the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. The partially wooded 1.6 acre site is dedicated to the purpose of providing a dignified final resting place for veterans and residents of the Brookfield area.
Oak Hill Cemetery is especially noted as the final resting place of Revolutionary War veteran Nathan Hatch, one of only forty Revolutionary War veterans buried in Wisconsin. The adjacent portion of Brookfield's Greenway Corridor, the Nathan Hatch Trail, is named for him.
Each Memorial Day the public is invited to attend a commemorative program honoring the memory of all veterans and those interred at Oak Hill Cemetery.
